Our Vision and Beliefs

Transformed lives by the power of the Holy Spirit is the motivation behind everything we do. In this pursuit, we are committed to being a New Testament church both in practice and in beliefs.

The Bible is God’s revelation to fallen humanity that provides us with everything we need to know to live victoriously in this present world and to inherit everlasting life in the world to come. This book is inspired by God, is without error or contradiction and has been divinely preserved for us (2 Timothy 3:16).
There is only One true and living God who has revealed Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ, the express image of God to His creation, is the only hope that man has for salvation. This hope was provided by the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Hebrews 1:3, John 14:6, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
Everyone has sinned and is in need of salvation. Salvation is available by grace through faith because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (Jeremiah 17:9, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8)

As the author of salvation, Jesus made it clear that to enter the Kingdom of God a person needs to be born again. Peter presented this born again message to believers at Jerusalem when he told them that they needed to repent, be baptized in Jesus name for the remission of sins and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Hebrews 5:9, John 3:3-5, Matthew 16:19, Acts 2:38).
Man was created to live forever and can do so with God or estranged from God. Man’s ultimate destiny will not be determined by how good he is but rather by having a biblically-founded relationship with his Creator (Genesis 1:27, Revelation 20:12, Hebrews 9:27, John 3:3-5).
Miracles still happen today and many people at the Word of Life have experienced one for themselves. Whether the need is physical, emotional or spiritual – God has not changed and still does the miraculous today. (Mark 16:18, Hebrews 13:8)
